Have a look at the behind the scenes of this newborn session! Every session is a different experience. I love to meet new people, and I will adapt to your comfort levels for how we shoot. You’ll notice at this session, I did handle the newborn, and I’m always happy to help you with your little one, but if you’re more comfortable with a hands-off approach, that works too. We’re not after perfect here, we’re just looking for beautiful moments.

A Relaxed Experience

As a Montreal family and newborn photographer, I always strive to create a stress-free and relaxed environment for my clients. I believe that the best photos are captured when everyone feels comfortable and at ease. I had already photographed this family for a maternity session just a few weeks earlier, so we already knew each other and what to expect. If it’s the first time working together, I’ll take some time at the start to walk you through what to expect and to get to know the kids a little so that everyone feels comfortable being photographed.

I believe in capturing your story with integrity and with attention to detail.

Once we started shooting, I got to see how natural and loving the older siblings were with their baby sister. Everyone could just be themselves, without any pressure of posing, or time constraints. The kids were so gentle and caring with their baby sister, and it was clear that they adored her. I made sure to capture all the little moments – from the siblings whispering sweet nothings to the baby, to the parents cuddling their newest addition. Each click of my camera felt like capturing a piece of their family history.

Overall, this in-home family session was a beautiful experience, and I am grateful to have been able to document such special moments for this wonderful family. As a photographer, there is nothing more fulfilling than capturing the love and connection between family members, and I am honoured to do so.
